Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness to ensure even cooking. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili powder.
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge the chicken first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.

Heat cooking oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F). Carefully lower the breaded chicken into the oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Drain on a paper towel.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with hot sauce until well combined. Adjust the spice level to taste.
Toast the bread slices if desired. Spread a generous layer of spicy mayo on each slice. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and the crispy chicken fillet. Drizzle more spicy mayo on top before closing the sandwich.
